In the recent decade, the problem of childhood obesity has been increasing rapidly day to day. This essay will illustrate the initial contributions of this phenomenon and give some solutions to reduce childhood obesity below.
To begin with, one of the biggest causes of obesity is children’s lifestyles in their childhood. In fact, because of the development of technology such as a lot of electronic equipment, children more likely want to spend their time at home. For example, playing computer games, watching movies or dramas, and so on, these all activities are the things that children can do themselves in their houses, so they tend not to feel the enjoyment of hanging out. This tendency leads children to have lack of exercise and fewer activities. Furthermore, children also like to consume some high-calorie foods and drinks such as a pizza, a hamburger, chips, and so on. Thus, these all these things make children to dropping their health state, and it also causes obesity.
It is true that people should encourage children to reduce their fats so here is a solution. One of the most important measures is for adults and children’s parents to should restrict children’s lifestyles which can bring negative impacts to kids. For instance, people need to block eating sweets like a cookie, chocolate and encourage to consume healthy meals for kids. In addition, a school also should focus on kids' obesity problem: they can extend P.E. class times and ensure all kids can participate in the exercising class. Moreover, if students make an effort to reduce their weight or consume healthy foods, schools also can make some roles to give certain benefits for those students to inspire children’s healthy lives.
In conclusion, childhood obesity can be increasingly arisen because of children’s lifestyle. However, if adults keep encouraging children to reduce their weight, childhood obesity can be reduced.
