There could be a controversy about whether we can reveal personal information of criminals to the public or not. Nevertheless, I am of the opinion that uncovering their information should be admitted for the public good and safer society. Given that personal information is one of human rights that must be respected, it seems persuasive that even criminals have their own right to be protected as a member of a social community. On top of that, developed media would make their information be exposed to everyone which means there could be another unpredicted crime toward them or even towards relevant people. For instance, disclosure of the location of specific criminal's house induced sudden economical damage of the house and building owner as everyone refused to live nearby. I am against, however, these opinions considering our better society. Criminals who already violated social principles and laws have intruded people's right to be assured in terms of their safety, happiness, justice and orders regardless of the form of crimes. As they chose to infringe on others' right, there is no need for us to respect their right as well. Furthermore, when criminals would be are imprisoned one day, people can avoid them and protect themselves based on an appearance or their living place from disclosed personal data. To sum up, the opened criminals' private information can be seen to intrude their right but we should be accessible to them to protect our society safely.
