Your Answer As industrialization has passed through the modern society, it is inevitable for the people who live in the contemporary world to face the depletion of natural resources. The anxiety is now surrounding those who claim that the amount of the natural resources cannot follow up the speed of the current economic growth. I partly disagree to the statement that views the economy nowadays exceeding the degree nature can tolerate through the with following explanations. There exists an undeniable fact that the more the components of the economic society have been given their gives birth, the more complicated the cities become, and the larger the size of the companies and the employees around the world should fill up to maintain the current economic state. The manufacturing industries would not abandon their profits generated through the process to meet the demand of the grown population, contributing to a total acceleration. Therefore, over-population will lead to surplus in the usage of electricity, plastic, and paper, in high chance, which demands substantial amount of fossil fuel, especially plants and manure, in each process. So in this view, it seems impossible for the supply to cover up the demand of all the people living in the contemporary world. Nevertheless, the current society which seems to be caught in a whole catastrophe still has a clear, concrete solution to figure out the way to maintain sustainability of the planet Earth. Although human beings have exhausted a majority of the natural resources available, nature provides people with ingredients to generate power without having them to pay the price for them. Focusing on renewable energy such as solar power, wind power, and hydroelectric power that can be generated easily by employing some technologies, the society will be able to recover the loss of energy that have been made through from economic growth throughout decades. For instance, solar panels are attached on the roofs of a few houses, where they can capture sunray and convert it into electric powers. Similar progression can be applied to a conversion of wind power into electronic energy, so that a tremendous number of average people could take advantage of nature’s infinity. In conclusion, despite the concerns about the shortage of energies that have been incurred through industrialization and urbanization, there still exists a way to solve this problem. Therefore, people living on the Earth should figure out the methods to utilize renewable energies, and show more of a commitment to develop technological strategies to distribute natural power to communities all over the world. |
