As technology and science advance, it gets more easy to purchase things by using the Internet. I believe that the advantages of this phenomenon are much bigger than its disadvantages due to the fact that people can improve their expenditure habit.
Firstly, the most beneficial feature of this phenomenon is that people can save more money because they can easily compare the price of products by searching many different websites at the same time. For example, without the development of computer, people would have to visit real shops to purchase things they need. In this case, people also need to prepare extra charges like transportation fee. However, these days, many people are given an opportunity to easily visit a number of websites which sell the same product, so they can buy the cheapest product by comparing the price. Therefore, it is evident that people can improve their expenditure habit.
Moreover, by using the Internet, people can effectively have contact with the products which are produced far from their home. It makes it possible for consumers to buy the most useful in a certain product. This is because there are tons of information on the Internet such as comments for the product from previous buyers. Especially, when it comes to electronic devices, even though the distance between the company and the buyer is far, he or she can use the product for a longer time without any error once they bought the strongest product. In this perspective, they can postpone the day when the product is broken, and when the consumer has to buy the same thing again. This clearly shows that people can be reasonable consumers when buying things through the Internet.
To sum up, there are many advantages when people buy things using the Internet, and these advantages can effectively cover the disadvantages by investigating whether the information on the Internet is trustworthy prudently.
