Your Answer ▼More and more countries are considered about the increase of the number of elderly people. I personally think that the higher proportion of older people than young adults has positive and negative effects on countries.
Some people assert that the more number of elderly people than young people will be a positive development because senior citizens have a wide range of experiences in society, by using these experiences, a country could avoid some risks in economic development. For example, there are many established companies employ senior workers who have numerous of wise ideas to deter unexpected situations. Moreover, due to the plenty of older people in society, several of fields such as economic industry could be stably developed. Therefore, it is clear that the increase of the number of elderly people in countries has an advantage on society. On the other hand, many people assist that the higher number of senior people than youngest in countries may bring a negative result because the government uses tax money from young people to support elderly people. To be specific, people getting older and older will be used more facilities such as hospitals, and it requires considerable money. In addition, since many senior people occupy with a lot of workplaces in modern society, young people have lived in competitive society due to the limited jobs. Therefore, a country changes into aging society, young people could be experienced some worse circumstance such as the lack of workplaces and imposing more taxes, compared to the present. To sum up, it is undeniable that the issue of aging society contains positive and negative ways. However, I assume that the grow of elderly people has more harm than good, so I disagree with this topic. 목표점수 6.5 |
