For today’s people, success means a lot, and they even expect a sense of achievement when they spend free time. Some people think that a high level of difficulty determines an enjoyable hobby, but I disagree with this opinion.
Energy consuming factors cannot guarantee positive feelings of hobby doers. People have hobbies because they believe that it can give them something that they cannot expect at work. At work, they focus too much on big numbers and big words. However, having easy hobbies can set them free from those fatigues and make them realise again the importance of smaller wins. When they focus on small numbers, they can stop comparing themselves to big numbers, and their every actions will feel more meaningful than achieving.
Some people think that hobbies should not be easy and are a sort of tasks that is on their to do list. However, it just makes them get stressed all day while thinking of ticking on a checkbox. This impatience already takes away most of their energy allocated for a day and makes them unable to do the rest of their day jobs. Thus, hobbies and work should not be treated the same way and should be written on separated lists. What their hobbies expect from them is a change in mind, not a progress in their profession.
In conclusion, enjoyable hobbies do not also have to be difficult because people have already lived with uneasiness. They now want to really enjoy something at the end of a day. |
