The below figures and graphs present the change in the year before and after the refurbishment of Ashdown Museum, where the table shows the total number of visitors and the charts show the response of visitor satisfaction.
The number of visitors of the museum was only 74000 before the refurbishment but increased to 92000 after the refurbishment.
The distribution of visitor satisfaction have changed before and after the refurbishment. Before the refurbishment, it can be seen in the first chart that all satisfied visitors(very satisfied, satisfied) sum up to 45% whereas all dissatisfied visitors(dissatisfied, very dissatisfied) are 50%. The majority of the visitors were dissatisfied having 40% of the portion. However, the trend changes dramatically after the refurbishment where 75% of the visitors show satisfaction and only 20% are dissatisfied. The maximum portion goes to satisfied visitors showing 40%. Additionally, the percentage of no response have the same value of 5% before and after the refurbishment.
Overall, the relevant feature of the results are number of visitors increased after the refurbishment, and consequently the percentage of very satisfied and satisfied visitors increased.
