Your Answer ▼ As most of the people are used to their smart mobile phones and thin laptops, they become dependent, even some are addicted to these electronic devices. It is not at all hard to discover pedestrians who watch newspapers or books by their phones or small laptops. Some assume these kinds of people will be more common, reading stuffs through online.
There are a few reasons why some readers prefer online-mediated literature. First of all, there is nothing to worry if old books and newspapers would be worn out and moldy. The condition of writing will be always the same forever, and the letter will never be erased. Also, it is very handy and comfortable to carry. Thick books with too many stories are too heavy and huge to convey, but books in cellular phones do not add any grams to users. Therefore, viewing through online seems much more convenient than reading through paper.
On the other hand, there are certain merits of offline materials. Most of all, it makes eyes comfortable. People's eyes become more tired when exposed to intensive lux from computers and phones. It is easier to maintain eye health when people choose to read through papers. Secondly, it is simpler to scribble and write down viewers' own ideas and schemes on the papers than on the phones. Moreover, to discuss the overall impression of a specific essay or any other type of writing, it includes not only the text of the literature, but also does it contain the type of the letter, texture of the paper, quality of print, and even how the cover is designed delicately.
In conclusion, even though I admit there are specific merits of online materials, I think quite a lot of people will still enjoy literature and articles written on the paper. |
