On the one hand, this message can boost kids to grow hard working, diligent worker. It gives them to step forward and keep moving, planning every schemes. grows confidence. Also, the children who got their goals can experience how sweet the achievement and reward they got. With this positive experience, they can dream bigger and plan their life delicately with huge hope. Even if in reality, sometimes it is extremely rare to achieve their goals, they will learn not to give up and try over and over.
On the other hand, there are hidden risk for this lesson. When they do not meet their goals, they cannot accept the failure easily, keep questioning why they failed though they tried everything with passion. If they cannot answer the reason they failed, it will be easy for them to be panicked. The undoubtful belief of their success makes them vulnerable to single failure. and this makes them hard to get up and overcome. Blind belief cannot train the children how to deal with failure and upcoming frustration.
In conclusion, training children with with the message of trying hard for their goals can motivate them and move forward earnestly. However, it can make the children powerless when exposed to unexpected failure. |
