The charts give information about the changes in possession of electronic home appliances and amount of time spent doing housekeeping in families in one country from 1920 to 2019. Overall, the household with refrigerator and vacuum cleaner showed a significant rise over the period. In the meantime, the percentage of household with washing machine show gradual rise in comparison with other two appliances. On the other hand, number of hours of domestic chores per week per family experienced a downward trend. In 1920, the rates of households with refrigeraor and vacuum cleaner were nearly 0% and 30% respectively. Percentage of households with refrigerator and vaccum cleaner increased sharply throughout the period, exceeding the rate of familys with washing machine in about 1945 and 1960 respectively and reacing 100% in the ends of the period. Meanwhile, the percentage of households with washing machine grew to 70% in 1960. But it shows slight drop from 1960 to 1980, but it mount again to more than 70% in 2019. In 1920, the number of hours of household chores per week, per family was the highest through the period. However, it drastically declined to 20% in 1980, then it was remained steady until 2000, during 2000-2019 it experienced a decrease to about 10%.
