There is an argument that we should allow
our children under age 10 to choose subjects which they are interested in.
However, others say that children should be given regular subjects. In this
essay, I will review both reviews and explain my opinion.
Studying favourite subjects help children
select their future what they want to be. For example, One of the greatest
painters, Pablo Picasso, his grade in elementary school was so bad except for
the art. However, his parents do not consider his grade seriously and couraged
him to study the art skill he wanted. Thanks to his parents' support, he made a
tremendous mark in art when he was 20, although he did not read well until middle school. As a result, Picasso became a master of
modern art, and his paintings and skills are praised all over the world. In other words, what this case tells us is
that if children take the subjects they want under 10, they achieve results
faster than others when they become adults.
Others who want children to receive the
regular subject insist that these are necessary to raise children.
Unfortunately, people do not know what talents they have. Besides, children
under the age of 10 are still mentally immature, so they cannot be sure if they
really have a talent for what they like. For example, if a child who has
studied mathematics before age of 10, respecting Einstein. However, when becomes an adult and
realizes that he has no mathematical talent, he will despair because of a huge
waste of time. The regular subjects do not teach children professionally, but teaching
them broadly, serves as a guide to what they really like. Therefore, children
under the age of 10 must first receive regularly.
In my opinion, children should first get a
regular subject. Because they are too young to understand what they prefer. |
