▶ Your Answer : Some
people think that universities should invest more on their cafeterias than on
funds to support students’ social activities. It is because there are lots of
companies and entities that are offering various activities and universities
should therefore fund rather on their food quality to improve their customer
service. However in my opinion, I believe that universities should spend their
money to support social activities for students because there is a strong
demand for universities to make their students capable of working in society,
and because students lack such information.
To
begin with, there is a demand from the society and from individuals for
universities to make their students capable of being proper workers in society.
Like Bill Gates emphasized, you should not expect to receive a lot of money if you do not graduate a university. In
other words, the society treats people who have a diploma and therefore
universities should be able to satisfy that demand. Thus, students should be more engaged into social
activities the universities are offering and become more and more qualified to
work in society.
On
top of that, students lack information which requires universities to help them
get engaged with such offers and activities. Nowadays, there are too many
things a college student should do in order to survive. They have to attend
class, do assignments, participate in group assignments and study groups,
prepare for the exam, join their clubs and so on. They
lack time and information and this requires universities to get involved in
helping their students with social activity information. This will make
substantial alleviation to the students since they save time and effort finding
such information.
To
sum up, there is a strong demand for universities to make their students
capable of working in society, and students lack social activity information.
In this regard, I believe that it is better for universities to fund more on
social activities for their students than to fund on their cafeterias. |
