▶ Your Answer : Some
people think that internet does not help students’ learning. It rather hinders
their time by many entertaining activities such as games and SNS. However in my
opinion, I believe that internet helps students to learn more effectively by
the help of smartphones and search engines which enables students to
save time while enhancing their information obtaining skills. To
begin with, the development of smartphones enabled students to look up for
information anytime and anywhere. It is like having a personal computer that is
always online to help you look up for any information you want. In my case, I
use my smartphone as a dictionary. Whenever there is curiosity of a certain English word, I am able to
immediately look it up through my smartphone dictionary application. This
certainly had a major impact upon the quality of my studies by enhancing the amount of
information I can receive while not getting too much hold of space(장소에 구애받지 않다를 표현하고 싶었습니다).
On
top of that, search engines enable students to receive literally “big data”. We
call the 21st century an era of “big data”. This means that there are
tons of information many of us can connect to via the internet. A
substantial amount of contribution upon this aspect were accomplished by the development of search
engines such as Google and Naver. These search engines enables us to
interconnect with certain information by just simply typing down specific words
and terms which then links us with massive information that is related with what
we typed down. For example, if you type down the word “laptop” in the
search engine, it will give you massive amount of results that are
related with laptops.
To
sum up, the development of smartphones and search engines allowed us to search
for information anytime and anywhere. This type of aspect helped us to receive information regardless of
time and space. In this regard, I believe that with the help of
internet, students can learn more effectively. |
