▶ Your Answer : There is a controversial issue whether the directly advertising is allowed to under five ages or not. After taking into consideration the idea of several perspectives, l side with the idea that l agree with the statement for two reasons.
To begin with, regulation of advertising is possible. This is because if there are close guidelines about contents of advertisement and the time that is advertised at television, children would not have a bad influence. For example, when government hired experts and psychologists and created the law about advertising, the company won be careful for did not violate the law, so that the children were not likely to be affected by advertisement. On top of that, parents can control their children because they have the real power of buying products. My experience is a great example, when l was four years, watched the advertising in television, I wanted to purchase toy gun, so I talked to my mother and father. However they did not permitted because the toy gun would too dangerous for young kids. Thus I could not have them. Therefore, this shows that the child can have products which be shown by television only when their parents allow.
To conclude, l strongly believe that my standpoints of two reasons are sufficiently convincing. First, the advertisement can be safely regulated. Second, parents are in control. In this regard, I believe that it should be permitted for under the five ages to directly advertise. |
