▶ Your Answer :
Some people think that being exposed to teachers’ claims on social and political issues will make students have narrow perspective about them. However, in my opinion, students should listen to (전치사 필요) teachers’ social and political opinions for the following several reasons. First of all, various suggestions from teachers allow students to broaden horizon. It is obvious that students meet a few adults, for example, parents, and teachers, and they will affect students’ horizon about social issues. If students are only exposed to their parents, they will have narrow perspective. For instance, I have a friend, Suzy, and she had homeschooling before entering in university. When I talked about global warming, which I had learned in high school, she did not know (동사가 빠져 있습니다) about this issue and. This was because she got all information and knowledge from her parents, and her parents did not have interest about environmental issues, such as global warming. On top of that, students can get more valuable and correct knowledge. Most of all teachers are professional on their field. Therefore, they tend to provide students high quality information with evidence. On the other hand, a lot of materials, such as social media, serve only eye-catching (단어의 형태) issues without any proof (품사 -> 명사 입니다). As a rule of thumb, for example, when I was a (관사 필요합니다) high school student, Muhyeon No was president in Korea. I read a posting (띄어쓰기 스페이스바로 해주세요) from Facebook that (연결어) the president had criminal record, and he did not deserve being president. After I read it, I agreed with the writer. I made a question to my society teacher about this issue. The teacher said that the president had criminal record, but it was because he had done movements for people’s freedom. Therefore he was qualified to be Korean president. If my teacher did not teach me the history of the presidents, I would not have right insight. To sum up, a variety of teachers’ claims on politics and social problems will be helpful for students’ widened (수동태) horizon and getting right knowledge. In this regard, I firmly believe that students should be exposed to teachers’ opinions on social and political events in class.
