Based on the experiences and understanding of the world, some people
might say that it is better for children to grow up in rural areas than in big
cities. It is obvious that the opinions of people with different standards will
diverge. However, I believe that children should live in big cities. My claim
will be validated by the two reasons that I will provide below.
The
first ground for my claim is that children in big cities can have more chance
to perspective. Children have to broaden their perspective to be able to accept
new insight and knowledge. Children can broaden their perspective by exposing
themselves to new opportunities and experiences. By doing so, they can learn
new ideas. For example, my sister has lived in Seoul since she was seven. In
Seoul, there are so many palaces and museums. She could do diverse activities
too. In the end, she has a lot of knowledge about many areas. So she went to
Seoul University. As shown through the
example, it is clear that living in big cities is better for children for their
future.
Additional
support for my statement is that children can prepare their future better. Nowadays
competition is so fierce. As skill and knowledge of population advance further,
our children are required to more competent than before. The expected level of
competency is going up, so children are doing their best to distinguish
themselves to others. For instance, The quality of education in Seoul was
incredibly different than academy’s in rurals. When I was young, I attended to
academies in Seoul. At that time, I had to learn more things than I expected. as
a result, I could go to good university. This amply demonstrates that it is
more advantageous for children to live in big cities for their future.
Through
the two examples, I strongly believe that my claim has been effectively
delivered. Concrete examples from real life have compelled me to take the
aforementioned stance.
