Over the past few decades, it has been argued that watching a movie is worth only when it teaches us something related to real life. Some might agree with enjoying a movie that teaches something is more important; otherwise others might disagree with it. However, I firmly assert that it does not take genius to know watching a fiction movie is also worth in terms of release stress and creativity.
To begin with, not everyone watch movie to learn something that is related to real life. Some people just watch fiction movie to release their stress. Releasing stress through fiction movie flourishes our mind with full of joyfulness and make people healthier. Therefore, it is acceptable that people just watch a movie without learning something. According to the experiment conducted by Seoul National University in Korea, it is proved that watching fiction movie release stress and made people healthier rather than watching boring movie that teaches something related to real life. Through this fact, I realized that it does not necessarily have to watch movie, teaching something about real life.
Furthermore, fiction movie stimulates viewer’s creativity and imagination. Therefore, it leads us to advanced science technology. Most modern technologies are come from fiction and scientists make them into real life. With these benefits, people extent their life or enrich their lives. For example, when I was young, I watched movie ‘Island’ which illustrated the life extension through human clone. Similarly, nowadays have stem cell cloning that helps people to replace their incurable organ. Thanks to fiction movie, it triggered people’s imagination and helped to reach to advanced science. Thus, it is beneficial for people to watch fiction movie instead of movie teaching something related to real life. This question is about whether watching movie that teaches us something related to real life is worth only or not. To summarize what I mentioned above, it is worth to watch fiction movie that release stress and encourage people’s imagination |
