Professor has an different points of view from the reading passage regarding the benefits of space exploration.
First and foremost, professor agrees on the view of reading passage asserting space exploration equipment no matter how improved will be hazardous to astronauts who will be on the manned spaceship. Contrast to reading passage which remains passive to space exploration for its danger, Professor argues being perilous is necessary requirement to achieve any feat.
Not only the professor took divert view about value of peril from space expedition, but the professor regards success differently. While the reading remains skeptical view about success following space exploration, lecture disputes the view by arguing it brought efficiency of life. In other words, feats such as improvement of communication and weather reporting were brought indirectly.
At last but not the least, the professor claims the even if whole money for investment of space exploration will be used for the sake of the poor it will make not much difference. Since proportion between budget of space exploration and poverty-saving is great it will be no use.
