This is an intriguing question because opinions concerning this topic can be different depending on people's perspectives. In my opinion, however, I support that it is significant to have family meals on regular for the following reasons. To begin with, having family meals regularly allows people to improve a sense of responsibility. This is because making appointments with others requires many obligations such as managing time, abiding by rules, and respecting them. When such obligations are fulfilled, people can realize the importance of being responsible and thus it is likely to bring a better result in their lives. For instance, my youngest brother used to be lazy and selfish. He has changed little by little after he started getting to family dinner every weekend. He realized that his punctuation could help him mingle with family members more easily, while his laziness could affect negatively everyone. Naturally, he was able to become more prompt with time and even encouraged others to be more responsible. Without having dinner with family on regular, he would have been still irresponsible. In addition, when people do something special with their family frequently such as eating delicious food together, they can strengthen their emotional bond and feelings of security in their relationships. To be specific, it gives them a chance to socialize with loved ones by getting to know and understand each other while having time together. Being with people they care about tends to prevent them from feeling lonely in today's cynical society. For instance, when I was in high school, I often felt depressed thinking that my life became an exhausting routine. Although I made a constant effort into making friends I could rely on, it was not easy since everyone seemed busy and indifferent to others, treating each other as rivals. Fortunately, I could overcome my meaningless life by having family dinner regularly. By doing this, I had conversations with my parents, acquired valuable advice, and obtained the words of comfort from them during dinner. As a result, I was able to become closer to my parents, recharged batteries, and felt refreshed. If I had not spent dinner time with my family, I would not have been able to escape from my depressing life. In conclusion, I firmly believe that people need to actively eat meals with their family often in order to become a responsible person and build a strong family bond. All things considered, it is my belief that my argument regarding this issue has been effectively and precisely delivered with the reasons mentioned above. Never should we forget that this issue might have a huge impact on our lives. |
