Various opinions may exist over the argument that college students should take the most difficult courses whether or not they can get good grade. As far as I am concerned, I am in partial agreement and partial disagreement with the argument. The two ideas stated below can be valid evidence to support my view.
First of all, taking difficult courses has positive effect on students future, especially they can find their aptitudes they never knew they had. Nowadays, modern students are forced to lead highly scheduled lives as the world becomes more contentious and fast-paced than ever. Given this situation, students are likely to miss chances in delve into the issues from which they can tremendously benefits. However, if they enrolled difficult courses regardless they have hard time during handle the subjects. I strongly believe that it might have positive effect and they can find their aptitudes while they concentrate something. According to a renowned professor, it is evident that students can attain the goal of advanced academic performance when they were participate in some research dramatically. He also goes on to say that challenging something is important for students to get diverse experiences and perceive their uncovered capacities. In this regard, taking the hard courses has positive repercussion though they cannot get good grades.
On the other hand, I have a partial different opinion this topic. To be specific, obtaing a good grade is the first and foremost thing to the students thesedays, since they have to get a proper job in the future. Thesedays, student hardly get a prominent job since there are too many candidates in a job market with not so many jobs available. In this situation, students should get special capacities which distinguish themselves from others, including perfect grades. According to a survey conducted by 'Institution of Statistics', 80% of the respondents answered that they are strongly helped by their complete grade in school. They also responded that if it had not been for their good grade, they might not have good job even if they had a proper abilities. In this way, having a good grade is more important than anything else, including potential benefit from taking difficult courses.
Taking all these reasons into consideration, I have partial agreement and partial disagreement with this topic. Even though they have an positive effect on taking difficult courses, there are relatively pertinent issues in real world.
