I definitely believe
that governments should invest more money on improving public transportation
system from three reasons bellow.
To begin with, when
people take more public transportation than their own cars, we can improve our
environment. To be specific, these days, most big cities have environmental
problems and without a doubt, the exhausting gas from cars is one of the most
contributing factors of air pollution. Such bad air pollution is threatening
people’s health. So, to make better our environmental condition, governments
need to spend more money on public transportation system.
Secondly, when people
choose buses, trains or subways to commute, they can save their time compare to
driving themselves. In particular, most big cities have traffic jam almost
always. To go to work and schools, many people need to be stuck on the street
from minutes to hours, every day, repeatedly. If governments allotted more
money to reinforce public transportation and let people take them comfortably,
people would be able to spend their time to do more important things. In
result, we can develop our society, in the long term.
Last but not least,
governments should allot more budgets to reinforce their transportation system that
have already been running. Sometimes, we
can hear some news about accidents caused by old subways or trains. When they
use vehicles too long, there is a high possibility to have an accident. Since, many
people use them, once they have an accident, they are likely to have many
casualties. So, to prevent such disasters and to offer safe condition for
people, they need spend enough money so that they can check their vehicles
properly and regularly. |
