I usually watch action movies such as "Spider Man," which the main character has very surprising abilities. When watching them, I feel the excitement of adventure and imagine as if I am the main characters. If movies teach us something about real life, I cannot feel such feeling.
First, movies are a thing through which people can imagine something freely. It is to allow people to sympathize and reflect their desires through movies that movies are made. They watch movies to relive stress and sometimes, and they sometimes reflect what they want to do or what they want to be on the main characters. In movies, they rarely die and they can run over high buildings freely , and they give people in the real world sense of satisfaction because they never experience in the real life. Therefore, movies are the only hope to enable their creative imagination to come true.
Secondly, the worth of movies depends on how many people enjoy watching movies and sympathize with the movies, not just on dealing with real life. Movies are a only method of getting out of the real word, so movie directors make an effort to make them more imaginary and creative rather than real. If people cannot find their desires on movies, movies will lose their worth allowing people to enjoy, and people even do not want to watch movies because they already know how the story of movies will be finished.
In conclusion, as I just mentioned above, I disagree that movies are worth watching only when they teach us something about real life in that people can not reflect their desires on movies and how many people sympathize with movies and enjoy watching movies is more regarded as important worth.
