It
is debatable whether parents should set strict rules for their children if they
want them to succeed in life or strict rules are not necessary to obtain
success. This is an intriguing question because opinions concerning this issue
can be different depending on individual’s perspective. In my opinion, however,
I support that parents are not need strict rules for their children to success
in life for the several reasons.
First
of all, studying or playing without strict rules broadens children’s perspectives.
To be specific, unregulated life makes children think openly, which as a result
allows them to better understand other cultures, lifestyles, and perspectives.
As modern society is becoming increasingly globalized, today’s world requires people
with international views that is how children can succeed. Parents can make
children this better by bring up without strict disciplines. To illustrate,
Steve Jobs, who is the founder of Apple, made great accomplishments in his lifetime.
I read online that he was very successful because he was global-minded and
culturally sensitive. He did this by growing without rigid rules. Therefore,
this proves that parents does not need to set strict rules for their children if
they want them to succeed in life.
In
addition, parents should not set strict rules for their children because it
leads to added stress levels. To be specific, growing with rigid rules
accompanies a stressful process, which hinders children from building a
successful life. Stress is the main causes and dissatisfying life. Therefore,
children in modern society actively find ways to reduce stress and stay healthy.
For example, when I was an elementary school student, my mother made me follow
strict rules. Everyday I had to study for three hours to play with my friends. When
I broke the rule, my mother wouldn’t let me play with my friends for three days
and this made me stressful. Through this experience, I realized that strict
rules made children stressful and this cannot allow children successful. Hence,
this shows that parents must not set severe rules for their children to
successful in life.
In
conclusion, I firmly believe that there is no need for rigid rules for children
to succeed. All things considered, it is my belief that my argument regarding
this topic has been effectively and precisely delivered with the reasons
mentioned above.
