In the age of slow economy that the world is faced, the role of supervisor of the enterprise is extremely important. Since the future of the company is depended on them, they have to contain certain qualities that are able to overcome adversities and hardships. The qualities include leadership and dexterity in speaking foreign languages.
First of all, as they are in charge of the whole enterprise, they are supposed to have strength in leadership. This means they must be capable of controlling the group as a whole. For instance, they should be able to derive the solution quickly and wisely when facing the different arguements between the employees or crisis in the economical state of the company. Additionally, they not only impose power over the workers to meet the deadline but also, encourage and support them to do their best in accomplishing the assignments. In other words, supervisors should be able to elicit cooperation and collective efforts from employees.
Moreover, the ability to speak at least two foreign languages are indispensible in this globalised world to the point that even the universities require outstanding results in Toefl for the admission. Likely, supervisors cannot evade from the importance of fluency and knowldege in languages. This can benefit when exporting their goods and services to other countries, negotiating and building a relationship with bigger enterprise in overseas. Hence, speaking foreign language is surely advantageouse quality for both supervisors and the company.
In conclusion, the company does not floursih just because of the supervisors, but with everyone's attention and efforts. The supervisors are representatives of the group; therefore, they should feature leadership and fluency in speaking other languages when presenting the group in a positive way. |
