Since human beings appeared on the earth, they have developed many things by using nature surrounding them. These developments definitely have enhanced the quality of people's lives as well as given them a lot of convenience. It is no doubt that these achievements have helped people. However, at this point, we need to consider what impacts these have had on the earth. I strongly believe that humans activities have influenced the earth in a bad way. The rationale behind this is people destroyed the nature and harmed other species exiting on the earth.
To begin with, people have ruined the mother nature for their benefits. After the industrial revolution, technology has greatly developed. As a result, people started burning coal, cutting trees, throwing away polluted water into ocean and using products which cause harmful substances to the earth such as air-conditioner and refrigeator to file their desire and make their life comfortable. The earth has lost its green and blue feature and became black and yellow. To illustrate, I have been to beaches many time. I remembered that the sea was pure and clean when I was younger. However, I recently realized that it became extremely dirty. The color of the sea was almost black due to trash and polluted materials. I knew that they came from factories and people who visited there. I think many people have this experience. The earth is becoming dirty and destroyed.
In addition, human activities damaged other species on the planet. The problem I mentioned in the second paragraph causes extinction of many species, not only flora but also fauna. Ruined nature directly affects existence of species. A significant number of animals lost their habitats and foods. Not only that, but they are killed by humans becuase of their benefits or sometime fun. For example, more than hundreds of thousands of species became extinct since people showed up on this planet. In the past, there were so many kinds of whales in the sea. However, because of excessive hunting and the pollution in the sea, the number of the speices has decreased and even became endangered now. This shows how many problems human activities pose.
In conclusion, human beings have affected the earth in negative way because they destory the nature and threaten the existence of other species. It is true that developed technology and convenient life style enhance quality of humans' lives, but we should know that these activities are damaging many things right beside us. This is the time to pay more attention to the the earth's voice.
