In this competitive world, there has been a great increase of job losers. It is inevitable to say that only people with outstanding techniques can survive in this world. Therefore, I strongly believe that specializing in one subject can be more favorable for students than participating in many subjects.
To begin with, when students take one class only, they can devote their full energy to be experts. On the other hand, when they participate in many subjects, they won't be able to be professionals at any subject. To illustrate, I have two brothers who both have graduated their colleges and are working. One specialized in economy and the other one had taken many fields. As a result, the one who specialized was employed at a big fund company. Unfortunately, the other one was rejected by companies he applied to. His competitors had better experience.
