Some people say that all university students should attend to history class. I disagree that university students should attend to history class. First, students are busy developing themselves in and out of school. Second, history is not a practical subject.
Most of all, students are so busy competing with others. Today’s young people may have a lot more time because of the advent of transportation and they can listen to a history class. However, they do not have time to listen to history class because they should develop themselves. Busy college life demonstrates this. College students keep a busy schedule preparing for themselves for jobs. It is not clumsy to learn Spanish or French. Students especially flock to Spanish language certificate courses as
In addition, history is not a practical subject and it makes students to get job easy. Because history is not a newly-updated subject like science, the amount of knowledge is confined and its characteristic is not practical. So, it makes students to get job easy. Research done to Seoul National university shows us that more than 50% students responded that history class cannot help their life and it is just a burden. Also, some CEO says that history cannot help their company to enhance their competition and some government employee asserts that history in not practical doing their tasks and it has no value. Hence, it is really inefficient for university students to attend history class.
In conclusion, I disagree that university student should be required to take history courses for the reasons that I have mentioned above. First, students in college are extremely busy competing with others. Second, history is not a practical subject and it will not help students to success.
