In each country, they have their own educational policy. Some give students to choose their subjects to study while others have to follow the certain curriculum as policy arranges. There're are advantages and disadvantages in both ways. But I'm strongly insist that students should study by the curriculem that school offers.
To begin with, as a teenagers they tend to like subjects which they are intersted in or beneficial to them, if they get chance to choose their subject to study, they may pick only subjects they like. Students will avoid things matters they dislike. That can cause unbalanced curriculems
For instance, in high school, most of the students have difficulties studying math since it has bunch of formulas. Not only that, math requires lots of time thinking about solution to resolve the question. So they might think that it's time consuming. So they are not willing to take courses like that if they get chance to pick subjects Like this, if they won't choose the subject they don't like to do, they will have unbiased curriculum. They probably lack the certain portion of the knowledge. That's why its significant to study the dormatory subjects that policy suggests
In addition, If they take the regular course, they might get to face lots of subjects which can offer variety of information about one's career. Students will be able to learn wide range of knowledge and get to realize what they want as the future job. Also the dormatory course provides indispensible common sence which people needs to have in social life. So it also will be helpful to achieve their own goals
To illustrate, before attending high school one of my friend was disire to be a lawyer. But as he started to go high school, he faced many kinds of subjects he got intereted in. Finally he realized that he wanted to study for the Physical education to be a P.E teacher. Now he excersices constantly and studys reallly hard. If he had option to pick his own subject, he wouldn't be able to build his goal as a P.E teacher since he could have avoied to take the P.E class.
To sum up, I firmly believe that following the dormatory course gives students more benefits since it gives variety of subject so that students can experience many kinds of things. That gives not only the common sence but also helps to decide their future job. |
