Today’s educators can not decide whether students should wear uniforms to school everyday. This debate has existed for many years. In order to encourage learning, students should wear uniforms.
First of all, when students wear the uniform, parents can save money. Parents don’t have to buy the other cloths for their kids. On the other words, parents can save the extra money from that. And they can spend the saved money for student’s books, family travel; school supports which helps student’s development. Besides, those are helpful for learning.
Secondly, some students get the social pressure if they change clothes everyday. But if they wear uniforms, they are less distracted of their clothes. Uniforms solve peer pressure so that student can focus on academics. For example, when I don’t wear prevalent T-shirts, I would be pressed that I must buy one so that I can look like same with others. But since students care about their clothes, students need to spend time to what to buy. As a result of that, they will not have enough time to study.
Lastly, uniforms show school’s spirit. Therefore, everyone feels parts of the school community. So students will get a sense of duty. On top of that student will study as much as they can. For example, when students wear the uniform at school, they will proud of themselves, and they will try to get good grade. Because students who wear uniforms represent their school.
To sum up, students should wear uniforms. If students wear the uniforms, they get extra money, they feel less peer pressure, and they will spread school sprit. |
