It used to be that companies simply concentrated on how much to pay their employess. However, now companies are offering many other benefits to their workers. I feel that one of the best benefits to get for the employees is to take time off from work. This could be extremely helpful for all the workers whenever they need to take a rest.
To begin with, workers would be able to have a chance to take long vacations. Nowadays, many people spend the most of their time working which gives them not enough time to spend for their own. However, by taking vacations from work, people could efficiently spend their own time such as going for travel or hanging out with friends. In my case, when I worked in restaurant as a waiter, I hardly had a chance to go on short vacations becuase this typically requires that I have three days off of work which was impossible in this bustling restaurant. As I did not get paid time off from work, I had a tendency to become unhappy with my job and ended up quitting the job. This experience makes me realize that I should find a job that provides a flexible schedule and a few days off so that I could go on short vacations and be satisfied with a job.
Secondly, employees could take time off whenever they feel tired. This is undoubtedly important when it comes to working in companies because people never know when they will get sick. Since many workers get an excessive stress from hard work, they easily might get sick and do not have much time for curing it. However, by getting paid time off from work, workers would be able to take a rest any time they are exhausted and they also could make unexpected changes to their plans in case they have an emergency situation. Thus, employess could take a various advantage of taking time off and this makes a lot easier for workers to adjust their time from work.
To sum up, I firmly believe that taking time off from work is not only helpful for many employess to adjust their time more efficiently but also, covenient to change the plan when happening emergency problem. Ultimately, this benefit encourages workers more satisfied with companies. |
