Topic : Visiting museums is the best way to learn about a country.

It is often said that visting museums is the most effective way to learn about a country, because they contain many educational materials that show lots of things about a country. However, I believe that visiting museums is not a good way to learn about it for the following reasons: there are many biased information about the objects, and it is better to learn from surrounding of a country.
To begin with, most of museums were built by the people who are from the country, so there is a high chance that the information that they described for the objects is prejudiced. Thus, people can't rely on the information in the museums. For example, I read an article on the magzine about German museums. Although many people were killed due to the dictator, Hiter, during World War One, the information in the German museums described that this situation was not serious problem but the accomplishment that Hiter did for German citizens.
In addition, the best way to learn about a country is spending time with the people in the country and learn about their real life. Although there are many useful information in museum, it is hard to learn about the present lifestyle. Thus people can learn more about a country by experiencing their actual lifestyle.
For example, my history class went on a field trip to Japan. we went to typical Japanese museums, and then, got a chance to experience Japanese cultures with real Japanese people. Even though I was able to take lots of notes about the Japanese history in the museum, experiencing real Japanese cultures gave me more valuable lesson about Japan.
In brief, visiting museums is not the most effective way to learn about a country since the information in there is partial, and experiencing their cultures give them more valuable lessons. All in all, I suggest that people should try to find the other ways to learn about a country beside visiting museums.
