Many people worry
about today’s trend that people have a wider range of things they enjoy and listen
to what their hearts are pursuing. They believe people spend too much time and efforts
on what they want to do, disregarding the duties imposed on them. However, I disagree
with this belief based on my personal experience.
To begin with,
students are struggling than ever before to achieve their goal. Many experts of
economics have revealed their concern about the current circumstance the young
generation should face. The opportunities to get a job are becoming narrower,
and students are required to perform exquisitely. At this social environment, students
feel enormous pressure vaguely hoping to give up everything they have to do,
but eventually, they endure the indefinite tension because they can
well discern what will come if they do not concentrate on what they have to
accomplish. It is too merciless to assume that they spend their time usually on
something enjoyable.
On top of that,
people could plan their schedules efficiently with various new technologies.
The cutting edge devices help people finish things they are responsible for. For
example, I take advantage of these when I have to study for the exams. In the
classes, I take my notes about the lectures with the laptop, also recording the
lectures prepared to use when I take a short nap during the class. I also utilize
my smartphone’s calendar and alarm system when I plan my study curriculum and
during the study. They tell me when is the designated deadline to finish the
certain tasks motivating me to study systematically. With all these aids, I never
forget what is my responsibility and perform it more precisely.
To sum up, today’s
people feel a sense of obligation to complete what they have to do and have the tools
to do it well at the same time. In this regard, I firmly assure that people these days tend to focus on their responsibility rather than their pure
enjoyment. |
