▶ Your Answer :
Undoubtedly,
financial management plays a significant role in people’s daily lives in many
of the places where they work or play. Some people contend that spending money
in traveling and vacation is more important than saving money for the future,
while others do not. If I were asked to choose one, I would say that if people can
use their money efficiently and wisely, it is more beneficial to spend money in
traveling and vacation than to save money for the future. There are several
reasons as follows.
To
begin with, when people spend their money on traveling around their own country
or aboard in the vacation, it allows them to broaden their perspectives.
Traveling outside makes them be exposed by different lifestyles and cultures. Such
exposures enable them to acknowledge that different cultures existed, understand
this diversity, and even mingle well with people from different backgrounds. As
a result, they become more likely to have a wide range of international understanding
needed for the future. For example, when I was in high school, I used to travel
abroad in my vacation. At first, I was afraid of going to different countries
by myself. However, after my traveling experiences were accumulated, I could be
no longer awkward to travel to other countries and become more flexible and
adaptable to deal with unexpected events and unpleasant situations.
In
addition, when people can take a trip during their free time, it allows them to
increase their mental health. This is because people these days suffer from stress
and pressure caused by their workplaces, so it is necessary to spend their
money on relaxing and recharging their batteries by traveling. When they can
let off some steam by themselves, it is likely to bring about better results in
the future. For instance, when my youngster sister was 14 years old, she usually
felt depressed, thinking that her life became an exhausting routine. To survive
in a competitive world, even during the vacation, she had to spend the whole
time studying all academic subjects, hoping that she could outdo others.
However, these practices made her more negative and skeptic. After her parents recommended
her to travel to other countries, she started to change little by little. In
particular, she became more positive and optimistic, and she could deal with
such pressure and stress in a safe way. As a result, she was able to get a
higher GPA score than before.
In
conclusion, I strongly believe that the advantages of spending money properly
far outweigh those of saving money for the future for the reasons as I have
mentioned above. All in all, the importance of financial management cannot be
overestimated in their lives. |
