▶ Your Answer :
The opinion could be different depending on
how define the term "the best things". For me, since the best things
in my life are love and thankfulness, I tend to agree with the statement that
the best things in life do not cost money.
Admittedly, a lot of things we have require
money to some extent though the amount would be different depending on what
they are. If car was the most important thing in my life, I would definitely
need money to purchase a car. Without money, I would not obtain the things such
as car, housing, and even food. However, since the best things in my life are
not the tangible things but the values such as love and a sense of
thankfulness, I think money is not required to obtain them.
First, love can neither be bought nor sold
with money. For instance, when we love each other, we generally do not think of
money. Of course, some may argue that, with a lot of money, one can more likely
to achieve his or her love than without it. It may be somewhat true. However,
it does not mean money guarantee our love. It can be said that love itself is
solely relied on the connection of feelings of one another. As a result, I can
give and take love for free.
Furthermore, as thankfulness is also one of
my best things in my life, decision to whether I thank someone or something
does not rely on my money. If I want to appreciate someone for helping me a
lot, I can do it even though I have no money at all. In contrasts, if, even
though I have a lot of amount of money, I were full of self-confidence, I would
hardly be thankful, which would make me lost the best things in my life.
To sum up, as I mentioned above, love and
thankfulness are not the things we can buy or sell with money. In conclusion,
the best things in my life do not require money at all. |
