Drivers should be charged for congestion where they drive in areas with heavy traffic,

There is an ongoing debate over whether charging fees for those cars which use congestive roads is good idea. Some people might say that it cannot be a key solution for traffics in major highways. However, on the contrary to this notion, I strongly believe that this policy would play an important rold to distract overcrowdedness on roads. The rationale behind this is that by regulating the number of cars in one road, we can increase the efficiency of traffic and reduce air pollution.
First of all, this charging policy would improve the traffic in a road. The fundamental reason is that payment will distract the drviers who use a specific road to less expensive or free highways, so it will lessen the number of cars, which would enable drivers to reach their destination much faster. For example, in happy-new-year, milions of people go to their hometowm to meet their family. Since there are so many cars in a short holiday, traffic jams were always the problem. A few years ago, my family went to grandfather's in this holiday by a car. We decided to drive along the highway, because we usually took that route. However, when we were about to enter the highway, we found that they charge fees to those who wanted to take that road. Since busy, we paid that fee which was more expensive than we expected. Surprisingly, there were not that much cars on that road, and we could reach our grandfather's faster than usual. This example shows that this policy can really be helping.
On top of that, less cars on a road will improve the air condition. This is largely because cars that are stuck on the overcrowded roads produce much toxic gases such as carbondioxide, sulfice than running cars. This fact was revealed by a reliable research. In this research, the scientists focused on the fact that the majority of toxic gas, like ozon is created by overheated car's deck. It is commonly known in chemistry that chemical reaction are more likely to occur when a certain element is revealed to energy, such as heat from generator or sun, for a long time. What is important here is that there is a more chance for gases to meet the heat from a stationary car than a car which is running fast. Therefore this fee policy is a good idea for reducing air pollution.
