I believe that job promotions should be awarded based on merits, not by seniority. The reason why I think this way is because the new a younger worker might have more skills than a worker who has been at a the same company longer. A worker who works harder should be recognized, and the worker with more skills, not more work experience, not depending on seniority might will do more for the company.
*might랑 may는 50:50 chance일때 쓰니깐, 주장하실땐 will로 쓰시는게 좋아요
More specifically, there are some people who are talented and some who are not. The talented worker should be promoted, even though he might be the newest worker in the company, since he can do more things and learn things faster. It can help the company grow by investigating in talented workers. This system can also help companies discover employers with potential. The talented workers will slowly learn more things as they get promoted and do more and more for the company, which will help the companies get new ideas and grow.
Second reason is that the companies should honor those who work harder than the others. The ones who actually did something contributed something for the company should be honored with promotions. If the workers who did nothing for the company get promoted, the company will slowly break down. People on the top of the company will do nothing just like they did when they were not promoted. Those who got promoted without any accomplishment will keep doing nothing since they will think working hard does not matter. On the other hand, people who actually did something for the company and the people who are working, will continue working hard to get another promotion. do the same even of they get promoted. With the important people working on the top of the company, the company will eventually grow fast and eventually. It is the top people in high positions that make the basis of the company, which can be ruined by people getting promoted even if when they do not work.
In conclusion, job promotions should be based on merits, what they have done for the company, not by seniority, how long someone have been working for the same company. Promoting the people who work diligently is the fastest and the best way for a company to rise.
