Today, at least one television is at home every household has at least one television since the advent of television, and people are much more familiar with it than they are with other house appliances applicants. Now, some people say that television has destroyed communication among friends or family members. However, I think that television has positive effects to communication among people since it provides lots of sources for conversation, and it also gives the time that family members spend together.
Since televisions were invented, a variety of sources have been dealt with, such as sports, entertainments and politics. Those These/Such various sources help make it easy for people easily try to have to start a conversation with each other. In particular, it this would definately work help when you make a new relationship. For example, if you go to a party for some reasons, and see many strangers, you may hesitate how to start talking to those unfamiliar people. However, if you start to talk to them about sports or entertainment, which is what most people easily see and listen through television, you would easily get close to them by talking about those topics. For example, going to a party and trying to mingle with strangers might be difficult for some people, and sports or entertainment, which are common television materials, can be handy conversation starters for them. In this respect, I think that television is helpful for communication with other people.
Moreover, television provides the time that all family members get together at the same place. Usually, televisions are disposed at a living room, so when all family members get back home from working places or school, they would naturally get together at the living room. On the other hand, if they do not have television, each family members would go straight to their own rooms. one would be spread out to their room. For example, when I was a high school student, our family bought a television at a the living room. Before that, we just went to own room as soon as getting back home.we used to spend time in our own rooms minding our own business. Since we watched television together, the amount of the time we spent together at the living room has been naturally increased, so we talked a lot. In this regard, I think that television makes stronger strengthens family bonds.
In conclusion, I disagree with the above statement that television has been distroyed destroyed a relationship with friends and family. It provides you with lots of sources to talk to someone, and it also gives your family more time to get closer. |
