As everything in life is like a coin that has two different sides, people must weigh the pros and cons before jumping to conclusions. After that, each and every question or topic requires careful deliberation in that they are always multiple variables to the truth. Even though some may adamantly believe that eating meals at restaurants is more beneficial than preparing and eating food at their own home, I strongly think that such an opinion lacks coherence to some extent. In my humble opinion, making food at home can provide many benefits for the following reasons: saving money and having much healthier food.
First and foremost, preparing and eating meals at home helps people to save money. It is obvious that eating meals at restaurants spend a lot of money compared with cooking at home. This is because the goal of restaurants is to earn money and customers should spend much money, such as food expenses, tips for servers, and valet parking fees. My experience is a compelling example of this. When I was single, I used to be lazy and sedentary. I usually went to nearby restaurants for my lunch and dinner. I spent half of my salary on food expenses in restaurants. After I got married, my wife and I had to save our money for our future. We decided to cook at home instead of going out for having meals. In the end, we could save much money ever than before.
Secondly, cooking at home enables people to be much healthier. It is commonly observed that homemade food is best for our health. What I mean is that some food in restaurants contains much more artificial ingredients rather than food at home because of attracting people with fantastic taste. For instance, our family members consist of my wife, I and my two children. My children have an innate problem for food allergy such as synthetic ingredients. If they eat something which adds any GMO food, their skins reflect it on the fly. Since my wife and I recognized, we usually have cooked at home with fresh and GMO-free vegetables and fruits.
In conclusion, I am of the opinion that the advantage of preparing and eating food at home far outweigh those of having food at restaurants. This is because people can save money and keep their body healthier.
