▶ Your Answer :
It is debatable whether parents should set strict rules for their children's success. This is an intriguing question because opinions concerning this can be different relying on individual perspectives. In my opinion, however, I think it is better for children to implement strict rules to succeed in their life for the following subsequent two reasons. To begin with, children do not know what is right and what is wrong. After they come out to the world, they do not know anything about our society. Therefore, they should learn from their parents that which behavior is acceptable to other people and which behavior is not. This procedure is a considerably important factor when they live their whole lives because it helps them adapt to society easily. For example, when I was young, my parents were strict and rigid to me, so I did (시제 -> 과거) not like their education style. However, when I stole the toy at the stationary store, they told me with an angry face that this kind of behavior must not happen again. Since I was scared of them, I did not do that after then. Come to think of it now, I realize that they stopped me doing such a bad behavior again.
On top of that, rigid rules implemented by their parents would help children set their own goal. Strict rules may constrain children. (문장부호) However, most parents would hope their kids to succeed since they love their children. Parents want to offer diverse options to their children and to encourage their children to do what they like. In this process, having the children to do a specific activity would be a valuable experience for them in the future. For instance, when I was a middle school student, a friend of mine went to swimming class because of their parent's will. He had a hard time because he hated to go there. (왜 싫었는지 더 자세하게 언급해주세요) However, when he took a lesson, he really liked it. These days, he is the best swimming player in my city. In a nutshell, children do not know about morality. Moreover, rigid rules could be helpful for children to achieve their objectives. In this regard, I strongly believe that moderating strict rules is beneficial to children's success. |
