▶ Your Answer : Some people think teachers are the most influential to one's life. However, in my opinion, friends are the main factor to shape someone's character. This is because students spend much time with friends and they tend to have a deep relationship with their friends.
To begin with, students usually get along with their friends rather than teachers. So they have a lot of time to talk and communicate about their thoughts such as what they believe in, what they stand for. Sharing this kinds of heavy topic will significantly influence them to shape their character. I had a friends when I was in middle school. We went to hospital for volunteering every sunday morning. Frankly, I really don't want to spent my time for volunteering. But talking with my friends about my problem candidly, I finally realized that it was really meaningful activity. So it makes me to do a volunteer at the hospital so far.
On top of that, we can easily have a deep relationship with friends. Usually friends have a similiar habits, thoughts, and worries. These help them contribute to a deep relationship. When I was in high school, I had a problem about my grade. I tried hard, but the grade doesn't correspond to my effort. I told teacher for help about my grade, but he just said "study hard". It was total helpless. But when I share my problem to one of my friends, he completely understood my problem because he also suffered this problem. I felt reliable when I found someone who suffer the same problem I suffered although he doesn't gave me a practical solution. This makes him to became a best friends of me. I truly relied on him, so he influences me a lot.
To sum up, students spend a lot of time to get along with their friends and students tend to have a true relationship with their friends. In this regard, I strongly believe that friends are the most significant factor which influences students a lot. |
