▶ Your Answer :
It is debatable whether it is better to have an intelligent friend than to have a friend with a good sense of humor. This is an intriguing question because opinions concerning this issue can be different relying on the individual perspectives. In my opinion, however, I support the idea that having a friend with a good sense of humor is better than those who are not for the following reasons.
First of all, it is better that people have a friend who has a good sense of humor because it helps relieve stress and restore health. To be specific, having a humorous friend allows people to live a life happily, which as a result makes them to better manage stress, maintain health, and build a quality life. Stress is the main cause of disease and dissatisfying life. Therefore, people in modern society should actively find ways to reduce stress and stay health. People can do this better by making a friend who can give humor for them. For example, when I was in high school, I had a friend whose (소유격) name is Minho. He always had ability to tell stories funnier than it is and he made me happy everyday. This helped me forget that stressful aspects of my daily life such as studying for the college entrance exam. Through this experience, I wanted to be a friend with a good sense of humor like Minho. Hence, this proves that it is better to have a humorous friend in order to lead a healthy and fulfilling life.
In addition, it is better that people have a friend who has a good sense of humor because it helps people learn about building relationships with other. In other words, usually, people who are (주어 동사 불일치) humorous are more famous than those who are not. Having these friends (단수/복수) creates opportunities to make many other friends, which as a result allows people them to learn how to build relationships through communicating their thoughts and connecting to each other’s feelings. Building relationships not only is a great way to develop the increasingly important social, interpersonal, and communication skills but also provides the basis for a strong network necessary in leading a successful life. To illustrate, Bill Gates, who is the founder of Microsoft, has made great accomplishments in his lifetime. I read online that he was very successful because he was able to build meaningful relationships as well as networks with people. Therefore, this shows that having a friend who has a good sense of humor is better in order to embrace relationships.
In conclusion, I firmly believe that it is better to have a friend with a good sense of humor than to have an intelligent friend. All things considered, it is my belief that my argument regarding this topic has been effectively and precisely delivered with the reasons mentioned above. Never should we forget that this issue may have a huge impact on our futures. |
