▶ Your Answer :
Cars have been used by innumerable people for a long time since they were invented. With the development of many technologies or increasing interest in the environment, some people might say that the number of vehicles will be less in twenty years. However, in my opinion, I think that the phenomenon will not happen in twenty years for the following subsequent two reasons.
To begin with, cars are the most convenient method of transportation in many ways. Possessing trains or airplanes is difficult because they are too expensive and their size is so huge to be privately owned. Moreover, even though bicycles have advantages in a short distance, they have overtly limitation in long distance. On the other hands, vehicles have superior merits. The price of cars is reasonable to buy individually and they do not need space as large as airplanes. In addition, those who have a vehicle can go to anywhere unlike bicycles. Therefore, if a groundbreaking technology is not invented, cars will be used continuously after twenty years.
On top of that, the number of vehicles does not diminish at least in twenty years because clean energy is developing in the present. Many countries are studying new energy in order to displace fossil fuels at this moment. Especially, hydrogen battery and electricity energy are promising in the future because they do not make any environment pollution. Even, there are certain countries to subsidize consumers who buy electric cars such as Korea. As a result, the main fuel will replace cars using gasoline and diesel to vehicles using electricity in twenty years rather than the number of cars decreases.
In a nutshell, since cars are the most useful method of transportation, the number of cars will not decline. Furthermore, merely the fuel of automobiles will be changed in twenty years. In this regard, I disagree with the statement that in twenty years there will be fewer cars in use than there are today. |
