▶ Your Answer : It is always difficult to fathom what
others think, but my opinion in regard to the given topic is adamant. Personally,
I believe people think it is easier to become educated than before. I feel this
way for two reasons, which I will explore in the following essay.
First of all, thanks to the
advancement of technology, especially the Internet in modern days, people should
admit that having education have become easier than before. When society was
undeveloped, many people had to spend tremendous amounts of time and effort
finding information they needed. However, as technology is coming closer and
closer towards the cutting edge, finding information is so much easier and
faster now. Therefore, I contend that people would feel today’s education is
much easier to access. According to a private survey conducted by University of
Southern California, an anonymous surveyed respondent answered that he was
strongly influenced by easy access to online lectures and books. He also
responded if it had not been for this kind of education, he might not have known
what to pursue in life.
Secondly, people admire more education
so that they acquire an outcompeting advantage over other candidates in job
market. Nowadays, people face fierce competitions in a job market since there
are too many candidates with not so many jobs available. It has become extremely
difficult to find suitable and rewarding jobs. Thus, in order to become
desirable job applications and find success in their future career, they should
become competent by learning as much as they can. Consequently, the desire to
have more education to compete in meritocracy, many contents has been made and
provided to people to have education readily. Research conducted by a renowned professor
named Mark Perry from Michigan University indicates that people who think they can
choose a type of an education and keep having an education attain the goal of performing
their ability in a much more effectual way whereas having the same accomplishments
is somewhat stunted for people who do not look for further education. Likewise,
his research proves that my argument is convincing.
To sum up, I believe my
explanations above sufficiently prove that people think it is easier to receive
education than what they used to have in the past. Obviously, the significance
of the development of technology and competent requirements in a job market
cannot be overemphasized enough. |
