▶ Your Answer :
Undoubtedly, achievement plays a significant role in people's daily lives in many of the places where they work or play. Some people think that success depends on luck, while others do not. Both sides may have their own reasons to support their views. If I were asked to choose one, I would say that you should be ready to seize an opportunity before it comes. Albert Einstein said genius is one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration. Like he said, success is based on efforts. Although anyone can be bumped into an opportunity, anyone is not able to grab a chance. Also, it is an obvious fact that someone can win the lottery once, even very little chance, but it can't go on forever. For example, my younger sister won the top award in the first piano competition when she was 8 years old. It was kind of beginners's luck. However, she believed that she could beat anyone in a piano competition without enough efforts because she was a genius. After that she neglected piano's lessons, assuming an arrogant attitude. In the next competition, she lost her reputation as a winner. She realized that she was not a piano genius anymore without hard work. She had changed her behavior little by little after finishing the second competition. Finally, she won her third piano competition since she made steady and persistent effort. If it were not for awareness, she would not be succeed in the competition. All things considered, I strongly believe that efforts are way more important than luck to be success for the reasons I have mentioned above. |
