Some people say that physical exercise should be a required part of every school day. Other people believe that students should spend the whole school day on academic studies.
It is disputable whether physical exercise should be a required part of every school day or students should spend the total school day on academic studies. Depending on people’s backgrounds and experiences, their opinions about this topic can be different. However, in my opinion, I strongly believe that physical activity should be a demanded part of every school day.
To begin with, doing physical exercise helps relieve stress and restore health. To be specific, inserting physical exercise on every school day allows to play sports such as soccer, which makes students better manage stress, maintain health, and build a quality life. Stress is the main cause of disease and dissatisfying life. Therefore, students in modern society should actively find ways to reduce stress and stay healthy. For example, when I was a high school student, I was bored about academic studies, and I had a lot of stress. However, After that, in class time, my teacher let us to play sports what we want to do. We could reduce our stress by playing and enjoying diverse sports. This helped me to forget about stressful aspects of my daily life such as studying for exams. Through this experience, I realized that physical activity is prerequisite part of every school day rather than academic studies.
Furthermore, putting physical action on every school day accompanies an educational process. In other words, doing physical activity, which as a result allows students to obtain valuable information, stay ahead, and attain personal growth. Playing team sports can be more educational than academic studies. Although students can get academic knowledge through studies, they will never get social skills, team work ability, which are necessaries for entire life. Students can get these ability by playing team sports. For example, when I was a high school student, I was so independent that I couldn’t get along with other students. But after physical exercise was integrated to part of every school day, I could play a lot of team sports. Thus, I could become more cooperative, friendly student. Through this experience, I realized that physical activity is more educational and beneficial for students rather than academic studies.
In conclusion, I am highly convinced that physical exercise should be a needed part of every school day for the two crucial reasons mentioned above.
