Both sides may have their reasons to support their views. Thus, some people think that migration from an old place cannot influence the relationship between old friends. However, if I had to choose one, I would say that it is not a good choice when it comes to sustaining rapport with friends since people will not meet again anymore by distance. Moreover, new friends and new circumstances make them forget gradually.
To begin with, if people move to another place for living, it is impossible for them to meet frequently. Therefore, the opportunities for communication will be reduced significantly, and they cannot be aware of friends’ situations or changes. As time passes, the bond of sympathy is getting harder to form again. In my experience, I and my group of old classmates always hung out together. However, because of my father’s matter, I should have left my old town. We have promised that after migration, we will often meet, but it was not realized at all. We were getting less and less contact from only a month. In this sense, I recognized that keeping with relation is very difficult without face-to-face communication frequently.
On top of that, when once people start living in a new place, they will obtain new friends and daily life patterns. As a result, they do not have time to remember and miss their old friends by adapting to other situations. To be specific, in brain mechanisms, people are likely to forget original memories easily when they encountered new external stimuli. A recent research by psychologists has revealed that human brains tend to replace old senses with newer and more sensational feelings. Moreover, the old ones will be removed or forgotten in their brains. Consequently, the sustained effect of the original impetus can last for only five weeks, and their friends of memory will also become identical.
In conclusion, I firmly support the idea that moving away can make people lose their original friends because of far distance and brains’ oblivion by new lives in there |
