There might be some people who believe that it is not necessary to find information through various sources, because it wastes wasted time. However, in my opinion, people should find information in a variety of news sources to be well-informed. This is because it prevents people from being misinformed and biased.
First of all, people can get accurate information if they get it from a lot of news sources. These days, with the improvement of technology, it has become much prevail forging certain information into more sensitive one, so as to get more attention from other people. (Wrong sentence) In addition to that, people have a tendency to believe a script or a picture without any doubt, because they usually think the materials on the internet or in books are true. For example, last year, there was a big event in Korea. A certain article on the Internet said that the North Korea was preparing for invasion to the South Korea, which made some people, who watched the news, go into panic. Many people bought foods, clothes, and even washing products because they thought they might have to move right after the war begin began. This also hinder them from going to work or school due to the fear of fake invasion. Even if there was another news indicating the fake article was not true, some people wasted a lot of time buying and living in fear because they did not find anymore about the issue. (Make it clear) If they found some other sources to confirm the facts, they would not have been worried about the invisible threat.
On top of that, people with who are only learned by few information sources are likely to be biased. Some news sources do not contain all the information about certain events or issues. This makes people think in a specific way that whatever the problem is, a certain group has responsible for the problem. According to a research conducted by the Seoul National University, in Korea, many people who only read a certain kind of newspaper are more likely to have discriminative perspectives. The university has conducted a survey on 100 students, half of them have read 3 different newspaper and the others with just one type. The university asked several questions on political issues to all of them and found that 88 percent of students reading only with one newspaper think that a certain political party should be blamed for the problem, actually it does not related with the party. On the contrary, students with several newspapers have more objective views and tried to figure out what caused the problems. This clearly shows that people with limited information sources have a tendency to be biased.
In conclusion, people can get more accurate information and not to be biased when they find from a various way. In this regard, I strongly believe that people should get information from a variety news sources.
