Opinions might be divided
on whether hasty decisions could make positive
results or not. People from different walks in
life may have different stances on this contentious issue. Personally, I
believe that people should consider various aspects before making a decisions
with enough time. There are two reasons that could validate my opinion.
To begin with, a hasty decision could cause negative effects. As the modern society is becoming complicated, people
should investigate enormous information. Furthermore, we have to compare all of
the pros and cons which will be caused by our decision because there are a lot
of biased information around us. My experience demonstrates this concept.
Watching an advertisement about a music player,
I was fascinated by it, and decided to buy it, tough
though I already have had a music player. My friend, a tech-savvy early
adopter (무슨 뜻이죠?) advised me to wait for a better version. I, however, did not give a
second thought and decided to purchase it. Not long afterwards, I found that it did not have a random play function. This experience shows that making a hasty decision is not proper.
On top of that, thinking
deeply and enough is likely to make a bring
positive results. As I mentioned above, we have to consider various conditions
due to the complexity of our society. However,
we have limitations on time and resources. Therefore, we have to find the best choice which is effective, and we can do this
by asking to experts and learning knowledge. This process consumes our
time, but is definitely worth it. Evidence for
this comes from a study by a Korea University
research team. According to one of their studies, successful businessmen tend
to spend a lot time for market survey and finding expert’s experts’
opinions before starting their own business.
This study showed that enough preparation can make positive results.
To sum up, making hasty decisions
is not advantageous for our life. In this regard, we have to have enough time to think before making an important decision. important decision
making.
