▶ Your Answer :
An intriguing topic of discussion at hand is whether the successful development if the country, the government should spend more money on very young children(the age five to ten) than on the university education. The answer to this question can vary greatly depending on the individual perspectives. Thus, the jury may still be out, but as far as I am concerned, I totally disagree with the statement. In the essay, I will present two reasons supporting my standpoint as follows.
To begin with, to develop the country, the government should support professional education. In other words, the government spends more money on the university that teach students technical subjects than very young people, especially the age five to ten. The development of the country results from the development of the specialization of area, such as economic, biology, physics, art, music and so on. So the education of the university is more beneficial due to education process focusing on the specialization. On the other hand, the education for young children tries to search for children’s interest through providing various classes.
Furthermore, many students who study on the university suffer from high price tuition. However, child education has been supported much money by the government. According to the National Research Center of Korea, over 30 percent of the students who study on the university took out student loans from the bank. And many people give up even studying the education due to the overpriced fees. Although the university provides students a chance of the scholarship, the chance is very limited. Therefore if the government wants to develop the country, they should expend a possibility of the education of university by funding a scholarship.
In conclusion, I strongly argue for my standpoint on account of the two reasons mentioned above. Once again, although the verdict may still be out, I personally believe that two of my rationales are enough to represent the viewpoint of a majority of people who are in favor of my claim.
