▶ Your Answer :
I think people need to get information from various news sources to stay well-informed.
One reason I think that is people cannot rely on only one source to get a balanced view on a certain issue. Just like people talk differently about the same topic, even credential news agencies offer different views to people. We often encounter differences in views between news agencies even though to be objective and deliver the truth is the duty of media. Some news source talks critically on a certain matter, while other news papers are in favor of the same matter. So , if one only hears about a certain side of the matter, then the person is likely to have a biased opinion, not balanced , about the topic.
Another reason is every news agency focuses on different, specific issues. One news source talks assertively on a certain matter, while other news sources don’t even mention about that matter. Therefore, people just should not accept the information offered by a news source as the whole world. Through multiple news sources, people can get better informed of diverse facets of the world.
To sum up, I think it is important to be exposed to plural news sources to comprehend current issues better because each news source conveys different events, or different views on the same event. Various news sources definitely help people to get abundant information. (232<300) |
